Ipad + USB flash drive

To be read by iPad your usb flash drive should be:
  • formatted FAT32
  • having root folder 'DCIM'
Now if you save pictures or iPad movie files in that DCIM folder your ipad could see it and import to its Photos galery.
See more how to do that.

1. Insert flash drive into your computer usb port, under My Computer right click on flash drive and select Format.
2. Make sure Fat 32 is selected:
3. After the flash drive is formatted, open it and create new folder in it and name it DCIM.

4. Save your pictures or .m4v movies in DCIM folder.
5. Using your iPad Camera connection Kit connect your flash drive to iPad. Now you can see the flash drive content on the iPad and import it.
Done!
